How we handle birth data

Date, time and place of birth are sensitive data. Here we explain how Silent Guide handles them.

When and how it is shared

Which data is needed depends on the specific work. After the first contact you will know what is needed for it.

The data is not shared through the website but in a messenger: Telegram or Signal, whichever suits you.

How long the data is kept

We keep data and materials retained by Silent Guide for no longer than necessary for the purpose you shared them for — as a rule, we delete them shortly after the work is completed. If you explicitly ask us to keep them for a future request, we keep them for longer. You can ask for them to be deleted sooner at any time.

The work counts as completed once the 3 days for follow-up questions after the consultation or after receiving the reading have passed, or once the work has been cancelled.

This covers your birth data, the correspondence on our side (including the emails from the form), our copy of the prepared reading and the working notes.

Within Silent Guide, working copies of the data may be kept on Rostyslav’s working device, in the work mailbox and in the agreed messaging channel. Only Rostyslav has access to them on Silent Guide’s side.

If you don’t know your exact time of birth

An exact birth time is required for an astrological reading.

In astropsychology, it is sometimes possible to work with an approximate time window. Rostyslav checks whether the factors relevant to your question change within that window. If they do, birth time rectification comes first — as a separate piece of work — and only then do we move on to your question.

Another person’s data

If the work involves a partner’s chart, we take their data once you confirm that they know about it. A child’s data is shared by a parent.

Such data is kept and deleted in exactly the same way as the rest of the data for this work.

If you come with a question about a relationship or a child, we talk about your interaction rather than passing verdicts on a person who is not part of the conversation.
